Ep 14 - Interview with Ed Ross & Dan Allen of TIACS: This is a Conversation Starter
Oct 28, 2021 Season 1 Episode 14

In this episode of the "Likeminded Painters Australia: Painters Domain" podcast, we talk to two unlikely tradies, one from the suburbs of Sydney, and the other from the Queensland Outback town of Longreach. These two young men drew strength from a tragedy just a few years ago to create a social-impact workwear brand by creating funky, eye-catching workwear designed to start the conversation about mental health among the blue-collar community, and helping make an invisible issue impossible to ignore.

Through the sale of their workwear, they have funded the creating of the mental-health charity TIACS, the acronym for "This Is A Conversation Starter." TIACS is a free, unlimited, professional mental-health support service for tradies, truckies, and blue-collar workers. Dan Allen and Ed Ross are the two men behind workwear brand TradeMutt.
