Luke West is a painter that was born in Victoria, but traveled most of his young life and has lived in most parts of Australia following his father's military career.
In Luke's own words, he describes himself as an army brat. Luke has now established himself a home base in Townsville, and although he has bounced around locations, he always finds himself returning to tropical North Queensland.
Having completed his apprenticeship in Townsville, and now making a living these days as a painter, he's had a very interesting path; a musical career that was discovered by Triple J's Unearthed series, wrestled crocodiles, and has even been a contestant on a few music reality TV shows.
Despite what might look like the perfect life on the outside, Luke has had his own
battles, and from that he's established his own mental health support group.
